Is Hypnosis Safe?
Hypnosis is a safe naturally occurring process or state and is completely safe. Hypnosis is synonymous with relaxation and is enjoyable and has been used in various forms for thousands of years.
Will I lose control when I'm in hypnosis?
No you won't. Hypnosis is a 100% consent state and you're always in control. Nobody can be hypnotised against their will. Nobody can be forced to do anything against their will while in hypnosis. The 'loss-of-control' misconception originates from the world of entertainment and stage hypnosis. Stage hypnosis makes use of volunteers that are happy to play the fool for the audience and stage hypnosis should never be confused with clinical hypnosis. Registered Clinical Hypnotherapists adhere to a strict code of conduct.

Hypnosis has nothing to do with sleep and so there is no need to wake up. In hypnosis you are alert and in control. If you want to come out of hypnosis you simply choose to do that.
Will I reveal secret information in hypnosis?
No. You cannot be forced to say or do anything in hypnosis that you don't want to. While in hypnosis you are in control and empowered. You will only do what you consider to be reasonable and pleasing while in hypnosis.
Can anyone be hypnotised?
All normal people can be hypnotised. All it takes is intelligence, communication and consent. If you are able to follow the hypnotists directions, if you understand what the hypnotist is saying and you give your full consent, hypnosis is quick and easy.
Do I have to believe in hypnosis for it to work?
Not at all. All you need to do is follow the directions from the hypnotherapist. If you follow the directions you will go into hypnosis and if you don't follow the directions you won't go into hypnosis.
